I teach with Ed2go.com because it’s very satisfying to work one-on-one with people who are more interested in learning than in getting a grade. I do miss teaching the Beginning Writers Workshop course but am proud to have published a workbook using my original curriculum.
One may ask if business writing and a back-to-basics writing course contribute in a similar way to the satisfying quest for meaning found in creative writing. Oddly enough, they do. I believe that getting the words right creates meaning in any setting. Also, punctuation and grammar help us when we strive to make our meaning clear as well as help another person hear how we want our words to sound.
